The children of Oren and Cora Lee (Bittick)

Son – Elton Dearl Worsham, Born Oct. 14, 1934.

Daughter – Thelma Lee Worsham, Born Jan. 11, 1938.

Oren and Cora Lee attended Brady School in Shelby County.

Oren’s dad preached at a church in Pine Grove Community. In those days the Simmie Worsham Family was one of the very first to own a car. Oren would take the car and go get people and take them to church. This is how he meets Cora Lee Bittick! Oren was 18 and Cora Lee was 16 when they married. Although if you asked Cora Lee how old she was when she married she would have told you she was just a few days shy of being 17. Oren never stopped taking his bride to church.

Born to Oren and Cora Lee were two children:

Son – Elton Dearl Worsham

Daughter - Thelma Lee Worsham – who first married Talley B. Dominy, and to them three children was born:

1st son - Ronnie B. Dominy

2nd son – Ricky D. Dominy

Daughter – Regina Dominy

Thelma Lee’s second marriage was to Melton Goodwin
